We tasked Jay with designing a state-of-the-art studio facility while overcoming some difficult design parameters including having two isolated control rooms side by side accessing a single ISO room. I can honestly say I've never met an acoustician and designer as brilliant, detail-oriented, or creative as Jay Kaufman. Jay takes his work very seriously and genuinely cares about his clients and the end results of every space he designs. He helped me turn a space with a number of preexisting limitations into a top-of-the-line, mastering-grade studio using solutions that were not only creative, but stayed within my budget. After running acoustic measurements on the space, we only found a variability of about +/-5db in the final measured curves, an impossibly small margin that is hard to find in even the most acoustically perfect spaces. I can't say enough good things about Jay and his work and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a space that looks and sounds amazing!

We are thrilled with the work that you did on our rehearsal rooms in our new building in Burbank, Ca. The acoustics in the 7 rooms are over the top, perfect. As you know, we have 3 big band rooms that can accommodate up to 25 musicians, 2 medium size for up to 12 musicians, and 2 small rooms for up to 6 musicians. No matter which room you are in, the acoustics are perfect. I have a bunch of crabby musicians and believe me, if the rooms were not as great as they are, I would of heard it loud and clear.
